Lisa Fields ’06, Illustration, has received a 2024 for her work on a children’s book about prayer and parent/child relationships. When I Talk to God, I Talk ݮƵ You (Penguin) was co-written by Chrissy Metz, star of NBC’s This Is Us, and songwriter Bradley Collins, with illustrations by Fields depicting animal parents and their babies discussing how they pray to God.

When I Talk to God, I Talk ݮƵ You introduces young readers to prayer through the loving relationships between parents and their children. Fields, who is currently based in New York, created warm, expressive illustrations of bears, rabbits, otters, raccoons, and other animals to help tell the story.
