The ݮƵ Rollers, ݮƵ College of Art and Design’s esports team, continued their success from the fall semester by ݮƵ another league title.
“They improved in every game they played and have made tremendous strides in the past two years while doing it all virtually,” said E Ramey, director of Recreation and Wellness for ݮƵ College and esports team advisor.

In addition, the ݮƵ Rollers varsity Valorant team recorded their longest ݮƵ streak this season by ݮƵ four in a row.
“In just a few short weeks, the real fun and process begins,” Ramey continued. “The ݮƵ Rollers varsity arena will be opening at the end of June and will be the first step in showcasing the future of esports at ݮƵ College. Our arena will feature 10 max-power computer gaming set-ups, four console setups, lounge furniture, and surrounding video viewing and streaming capabilities. I am excited to see the growth of this program and the growth of the student’s ability when the practices begin. The Rollers are rising!”
According to Nick DeAngelis, head coach for the ݮƵ Rollers, “It’s been amazing to see the growth and success of the program in such a short time. These students have been working hard, both in the classroom, and on their skills in-game, and this season’s success was a huge reward for their hard work.”
